This retiree has already chalked up 17 worldly trips, with three more on the books and many others on her bucket list, and she has the pictures to prove it. In retirement, Lakeview Village resident Ingrid Briody noticed that her husband Steve needed something. Not just something to fill his time, but something else. So, she signed them up to be volunteer ushers at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. Since then they’ve clocked more than 1,000 hours greeting folks and directing them to their seats.
