Community Based Service

Serving Lakeview Village residents and the greater community

Child Development Center

Lakeview Child Development Center is an inter-generational program that provides a warm, nurturing, fun and positive environment that is designed to promote the development of the whole child, as well as the on-going interactions that promote meaningful relationships between the children and the residents. Our curriculum promotes a child’s cognitive, creative, physical, social development and positive self-esteem. The center accepts children from six weeks to six years old. We are open Monday thru Friday, 6:30am until 6:00pm. For further information please contact the Director at 913-744-2462.

What Not Shop

The What Not Shop is a secondhand store operated by more than 75 resident volunteers. All proceeds benefit community projects at Lakeview Village. The store is open to the public. For further information please contact 913-744-2361.

Ridgeview Village Community

In 1997, Lakeview Village sponsored and currently manages Ridgeview Village Community, a subsidized-senior housing community in Olathe, KS. Operated under the same high standards as Lakeview Village, Ridgeview Village is affordable housing at its best. This newer, well-maintained community offers non-smoking, one-bedroom apartments designed for aging in place. Managed by friendly, caring staff, our home-like community focuses on resident-centered living with choices for seniors with low incomes. For further information please contact 913-888-3328.
