Inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation for the community

Eastside Terrace at Lakeview Village offers a unique combination of skilled nursing and rehabilitation services for residents who live on campus and in the greater community. Eastside Terrace features a 52-bed, inpatient skilled rehabilitation center specializing in orthopedic, stroke, and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, as well as other complex medical issues. An outpatient therapy clinic provides customized programs designed to help ensure the transition back to home is successful.

Providing a stepping stone for those making the transition from hospital to home

Physicians and nurse practitioners from the same medical group can follow rehabilitation clients from the hospital through their rehabilitation stay at Eastside Terrace. Eastside Terrace is the only skilled inpatient rehabilitation facility in the area that has an onsite, full-time physician and nurse practitioner dedicated to their rehabilitation clients. In addition, a cardiologist makes rounds weekly to visit cardiac clients, and a rehabilitation physician also sees orthopedic and stroke clients here. We work closely with a local hospital and physicians to develop research-based protocols for providing medical care to our cardiac clients that focus on eliminating unnecessary returns to the hospital.
