Barbara Frank, COO
Lakeview’s Chief Operating Officer Barbara Frank joined the Lakeview
team in 2000 as Administrator of the Care Center, and she was promoted
to Vice President in 2004 then to Chief Operating Officer in 2005. Barbara
graduated magna cum laude from the University of Missouri, then received
her Master of Social Work degree with honors from Barry University in Florida.
Barbara’s career spans many facets of service for older adults. I started out
as a hospital social worker, she says. That took me into social work
administration and eventually to home health administration. I wanted to
see where people came from. That led to an opportunity for getting a nursing
home administrator’s license. I love working one to one with people, whether
that’s with an employee, a resident, or a resident’s family member. It seems
that my talent is in understanding.
Lakeview is a unique place in terms of the vibrancy of the community, she says.
It takes the combination of truly dedicated employees and patient, teaching
residents to create such a place.
Barbara’s hobbies include reading, gardening,
and photography. She has 4 grown children.
