Extensive studies have shown that the monthly cost of living at Lakeview Village is very close to that of people living in their own home, when unanticipated costs (new roof or furnace, etc.) are added to regular expenses such as food, insurance and taxes.

“Priceless” • You don’t have to find or supervise household help, yard and garden maintenance, house repair, etc. • Cook only if and when you really want to! The one-meal-a-day included in your monthly fee is varied, delicious, and ample… and we fill lots of to-go boxes. • If you ever need short-term rehabilitation, say, for a knee replacement, you will be getting it from an award-winning rehab department. • If you need any kind of supportive care, you’ll receive it from caregivers who are expertly supervised and trained. • You live in a very friendly community among fascinating, caring people. • You feel safe. • Your children don’t have to worry about you.

 

Fees

Monthly fees range from approximately $1,200 for one person to approximately $3,800 for two people, depending on the size of residence and its amenities. Click here to contact a Marketing Counselor for more particulars.

 

Residency and Care Agreements

Lakeview offers five different agreements. They are:

Limited-Refundable Options with LifeCare
~Traditional Agreement
A LifeCare Agreement whereby a qualified member will receive lifetime care in the Lakeview Village Care Center with little increase in monthly fees. Additional costs include two meals, medicines, and any ancillary charges. Upon occupancy, the Entrance Fee is amortized 2% per month for 50 months. There may be tax advantages related to this Agreement. Please consult your tax advisor for more information.

~365-Day Elimination Agreement*
Similar to the Traditional Agreement, with an initial 365 day elimination period (cumulative days) for nursing care services in the Lakeview Village Care Center. During the elimination period, a resident who temporarily utilizes care will pay both the independent living monthly fee and the healthcare per diem fee; a resident who permanently utilizes care will pay only the healthcare per diem fee. Once the 365-day elimination period ends, the resident will revert to LifeCare coverage under the Traditional Agreement.

Refundable Options with LifeCare
~50% Refundable Agreement*
Similar to the Traditional Agreement, except that the Entrance Fee is amortized 50% upon occupancy and the refund is never less than 50% of the original investment amount.

~90% Refundable Agreement*
Similar to the Traditional Agreement, except that the Entrance Fee is amortized 10% upon occupancy and the refund is never less than 90% of the original investment amount.

Refundable Option without LifeCare
~90% Refundable Agreement
Upon occupancy, the Entrance Fee is amortized 10% and the refund is never less than 90% of the original investment amount. Nursing care services in the Lakeview Village Care Center are available to members under this Entrance Fee Option and the resident is responsible for per diem fees associated with the care, along with customary additional costs related to meals, medicines and ancillary charges.

*A Prospective Member must be under the age of 85 at time of move-in to qualify for this Entrance Fee Option.
